Technical Knowledge : Options

One of our favourite books on Option Pricing and Theory is:

‘Option Volatility and Pricing’ by Sheldon Natenberg.

The appeal of this book is that it’s much easier to follow than some of the traditional textbooks (ie. Hull). It’s well written, easy to understand and a great reference text for beginners and seasoned controllers alike.  You can pick up a copy by clicking the link below.

Beginners Excel Training

With 107 lectures and 8 hours of content this is a great introductory on-line Excel course.

You will start with the absolute basics, creating and saving a new workbook. The course proceeds step by step through the process of entering data in cells, doing basic math, formatting your worksheets, setting up pages for printing and applying basic mathematical formulas. Once you are comfortable with the basics, you will move on to more advanced formatting with themes, using Excel provided templates, adding graphics and charts, and using Excel as a database. You finish off with advanced formulas, and applying conditional formatting to your worksheet.
